Step out into the sun and stare up at the sky and you will know what I am talking about. These sunglasses make the world vividly more impressive looking. Colors seem to come alive and I can even see letters on signs better when I am driving down the road. They also came with a sturdy case to keep you from sitting them down somewhere they can be crushed. My earlier shades were Natives, Oakley and Prada, all polarized. I like Oakleys very much, but wanted to test out Maui Jim's and have to say these are as good if not better than Oakley. Both offer similar level of glare protection. With polarized Oakleys, they need to be cleaned only with the micro-fiber cloth other wise there are scratches on the glass and replacing that would cost you a few more bucks. Also Oakley's are susceptible for fogging quite easily. No such issues with the Maui Jim's and I feel these will be with me for a long time. Rating: 5 / 5 These are my latest glasses.
